About the Role
Datadog’s Observability Pipelines team is growing quickly, supporting enterprises in optimizing telemetry costs, modernizing observability architectures, and strengthening security operations. As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own the go-to-market strategy for this fast-expanding product line at the intersection of observability, security, and AI.
You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Analyst Relations, and Sales Enablement to shape category positioning, accelerate adoption, and improve competitive outcomes. This is an ideal role for a strategic marketer who enjoys building new market narratives and influencing product direction with measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for Observability Pipelines, from positioning to launch and scale
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define category messaging and differentiation
- Create compelling product narratives that align observability value with security and AI use cases
- Support sales and customer-facing teams with enablement materials and sales-ready messaging
- Coordinate analyst and customer communications to strengthen awareness and credibility
- Track performance metrics and iterate based on adoption, pipeline, and competitive insights
Requirements
- Proven product marketing experience, ideally in B2B technology and/or developer-focused platforms
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build new categories and influence product direction
- Experience partnering with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams
- Ability to translate technical concepts in observability, security, and AI into clear, persuasive messaging
- Demonstrated results driving measurable business impact (adoption, pipeline, retention, or revenue)
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with high cross-functional collaboration
