Senior Project Manager (Consulting) | Hybrid Delivery Leadership

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll bring structure and predictability to complex Microsoft delivery engagements. You’ll be accountable for delivering outcomes for clients, maintaining financial control, and ensuring execution aligns to business value through Hitachi Solutions’ delivery methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across cross-functional teams, including delivery, architecture, functional/technical, offshore, and PMO partners
• Stabilize and steer engagements with clear ownership, disciplined planning, and accurate forecasting
• Use KPIs to monitor performance and drive proactive actions
• Escalate risks and issues early and lead transparent communication with clients and internal governance
• Manage scope, change requests, and process-driven transitions to protect schedule and margin
• Apply commercial judgment in decisions that impact risk, profitability, and delivery success

Requirements

• Proven experience as a consulting project manager delivering large, complex technology programs (Microsoft delivery experience preferred)
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and coordinate offshore/onshore execution
• Demonstrated skills in project planning, forecasting, and KPI-based performance management
• Experience managing scope, change control, and delivery governance
• Track record of delivering predictable outcomes with strong financial and risk awareness
