About the Role
Roblox is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join the AVC team in San Mateo. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of audio, video, and communications experiences that support immersive, real-time interactions for millions of people.
Responsibilities
- Own quality for AVC features by designing and executing effective test strategies
- Develop and maintain automated test coverage to improve confidence and reduce regression risk
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners to identify issues, triage defects, and validate fixes
- Contribute to performance, reliability, and stability testing for real-time communication experiences
- Document findings clearly and help drive improvements to engineering processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with strong ownership of test planning and execution
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and building/maintaining test suites
- Strong understanding of quality practices for real-time or media-rich systems (audio/video/communications preferred)
- Ability to analyze failures, reproduce issues, and communicate root-cause insights
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving engineering environment
