About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Site Lead to oversee daily operations at our Emergency Shelter Program in Huntington Beach, CA. In this role, you will manage guest intake and on-site logistics while supporting a safe, client-centered, trauma-informed environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support shelter activities, including guest intake workflows and daily logistics
- Oversee shelter operations to ensure services are delivered with care, dignity, and trauma-informed practices
- Assist with crisis intervention and support conflict resolution when needed
- Coordinate and supervise volunteers to ensure coverage and smooth program flow
- Support staff with day-to-day operations and help maintain a consistent, welcoming environment
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to align daily priorities and operational needs
Requirements
- Experience in shelter operations, crisis response, or related social services environment
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to coordinate schedules, logistics, and intake processes effectively
- Commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered service delivery
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-empathy setting
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- Pay: $26.00/hour (annual equivalent: $54,080)
- Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (Off: Friday and Saturday)
