About the Role
Microsoft Edge is building an AI-powered browser experience driven by data and innovation. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Browser Growth Engineering & Data Science team, you’ll help create the platforms and customer-facing experiences that improve user growth, engagement, retention, and satisfaction across Edge and Copilot-powered scenarios.
This role blends product engineering with experimentation, telemetry, feedback systems, and AI-powered engineering solutions. You’ll design and ship features that move key growth metrics while also building the scalable foundations that enable data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve customer-facing experiences that support user growth and engagement
- Develop experimentation and telemetry capabilities to measure impact and guide iteration
- Design feedback and data collection systems that improve product learning loops
- Collaborate across client, services, and data layers to deliver end-to-end functionality
- Partner with data science and product teams to translate insights into engineering execution
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience building production systems
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and telemetry/observability practices
- Ability to work across client and backend/service components, as well as data workflows
- Comfort solving complex technical problems and driving features from design to delivery
- Passion for using data to improve user outcomes and product performance
