About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Specialist to support Security and FuSa (Functional Safety) integration. In this role, you’ll help ensure our electrified and digitized vehicle technologies meet safety and security expectations across development and integration activities.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end integration of Security and FuSa requirements into vehicle systems and software components
- Collaborate with engineering teams to verify that designs align with applicable safety and security goals
- Help assess risks, identify gaps, and support mitigation planning during integration
- Contribute to documentation and evidence needed to demonstrate compliance with FuSa and security processes
- Participate in cross-functional reviews to drive issues to resolution and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience supporting Security and/or FuSa integration in automotive or similarly regulated environments
- Strong understanding of functional safety concepts and security principles as they apply to complex systems
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and translate requirements into actionable integration work
- Proficiency with engineering documentation and traceability practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
