About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead strategically critical programs in the development, scale-up, and deployment of next-generation chemical processes. You’ll connect technical innovation with operational execution to help advanced chemical technologies move smoothly from early concept through commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Own program strategy, planning, and execution across chemical process development and scaling efforts
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive timelines, milestones, and deliverables from R&D to deployment
- Translate technical requirements into clear program plans, risk assessments, and execution roadmaps
- Manage day-to-day program activities, including stakeholder communication and progress tracking
- Support commercialization readiness by aligning technical outcomes with operational and production needs
Requirements
- Background in chemical engineering or a closely related technical field
- Proven experience leading technical programs, preferably in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing environments
- Strong ability to bridge scientific work with operational execution and measurable outcomes
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
