About the Role
AtriCure is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and improve technology that supports innovative therapies for atrial fibrillation (Afib). You’ll contribute to software used in a medical device environment where reliability, usability, and quality are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components for medical technology solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust implementations
- Write, test, and document code to support maintainability and traceability
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices
- Support verification activities to help ensure software meets applicable standards
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-grade applications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in modern software development
- Experience with testing practices (unit/integration) and debugging complex issues
- Comfort working in a regulated environment with a quality-first mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
