About the Role
SpaceX is building the technologies to enable human life on Mars, and the Starlink program is a key part of that mission—delivering reliable internet worldwide. The Supply Chain team is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support our Redmond, Washington production facility, helping drive large-scale sourcing and supplier execution for critical mechanical commodities.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities for mechanical commodities used in Starlink production
- Coordinate supplier planning and fulfillment to help meet program needs
- Assist with supplier development efforts and contribute to supplier performance improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams on negotiation support and sourcing strategy
- Help manage inventory considerations and support logistics planning for production
Requirements
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Strong understanding of supplier relationships and basic negotiation practices
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with quality and supplier performance expectations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
