About the Role

Databricks is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join the Trust and Safety Data Science team. In this role, you’ll help build data and AI solutions that strengthen the security and compliance posture of the Databricks Platform.

You’ll work on problems that matter to customers operating data and workloads across multiple clouds and regions, where keeping data safe and systems reliable is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply data science methods to improve platform trust, safety, and compliance outcomes
  • Analyze how customers use existing features to better serve diverse security and compliance requirements
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready models and analytics
  • Collaborate across stakeholders to ensure solutions meet security, governance, and operational needs

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data science and building ML/analytics solutions at scale
  • Proficiency with modern data tools and platforms (e.g., data engineering and analytics ecosystems)
  • Ability to translate complex security/compliance goals into measurable data science work
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ship reliable systems
