About the Role
Scout Motors is seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to lead connected vehicle services and the tools that support them. You’ll help shape the product strategy and execution for capabilities that enhance the connected vehicle experience—grounded in strong engineering collaboration and a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product strategy for connected vehicle services, including service roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and data teams to translate technical requirements into clear product direction
- Own prioritization across the product lifecycle, balancing customer needs, platform constraints, and delivery timelines
- Partner with stakeholders to establish success metrics (adoption, reliability, engagement, and operational efficiency)
- Coordinate cross-functional execution from discovery through launch and iteration
- Continuously improve product quality by incorporating feedback from customers, support, and internal operations
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Manager in technical or platform-focused environments
- Strong understanding of connected vehicle ecosystems (APIs, telemetry, device/service workflows) or adjacent domains
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with software engineering teams and influence technical decisions
- Experience managing product roadmaps, requirements, and delivery for complex systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders across functions
