Stormwater Project Manager (Hybrid) - Rockville, MD

About the Role

Apex Companies is seeking a Stormwater Project Manager to help lead projects that protect waterways, support resilient infrastructure, and create measurable community impact. In this role, you’ll manage delivery, coordinate stakeholders, and help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stormwater-related projects from planning through delivery
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to keep work aligned and progressing
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and key milestones
• Support client communication and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure work complies with applicable standards, permits, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Experience managing civil/engineering projects, with a focus on stormwater or water resources
• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams
• Working knowledge of relevant permitting and compliance processes
• Excellent organization, communication, and client-facing skills
