About the Role
Gotion is building advanced manufacturing capabilities and is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our MES and data initiatives. This role will help enable reliable production operations and strengthen data connectivity across manufacturing systems as we scale electric vehicle and energy storage technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain MES and related production data flows
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to define system requirements
- Support integration between MES, historians, databases, and other shop-floor tools
- Troubleshoot system issues and improve stability, performance, and data quality
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational best practices
Requirements
- Experience with manufacturing systems, MES concepts, or production data integration
- Strong understanding of data modeling and reliable data pipelines
- Ability to analyze root causes and drive corrective actions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment with cross-functional partners
