About the Role
Microsoft is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to join the Finance Data & Experiences (FD&E) organization. You’ll lead strategic modernization efforts that improve financial reporting and enable transformation across Microsoft Finance.
In this role, you’ll own end-to-end delivery for complex programs, partnering with Finance, Engineering, the Data Platform, and Business Operations teams to define the vision, align stakeholders, and drive measurable outcomes through modern data and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional program execution from planning through delivery, including scope, timelines, and risk management
- Modernize strategic reporting by improving data flows, automation, and reporting experiences
- Partner with technical and business teams to translate requirements into actionable program plans
- Drive stakeholder alignment across Finance, Engineering, Data Platform, and Business Operations
- Measure impact and communicate progress using clear metrics and executive-ready updates
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate finance transformation
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex technical programs in a cross-functional environment
- Strong program management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies
- Business acumen and the ability to connect program outcomes to financial and operational goals
- Technical fluency with data/analytics concepts (and comfort collaborating with engineering teams)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical partners
