About the Role
Google’s CSRM-Technical Operations Safety Platforms, Architectures and Concept Engineering (SPACE) team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to help sustain electronic security and safety systems across our data center fleet. In this role, you’ll lead complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, using technical depth to drive clear plans, manage risks, and keep delivery on track.
Responsibilities
- Own program execution for multi-disciplinary projects, from planning through delivery and ongoing sustainment
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, align priorities, and confirm success metrics
- Identify technical and operational risks early, develop mitigation plans, and track progress
- Manage schedules, dependencies, and deliverables across engineering and operations teams
- Communicate program status and tradeoffs to executives and technical partners with clarity and precision
Requirements
- Experience leading technical programs or projects with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong ability to translate technical details into actionable plans for leadership
- Proven skills in risk management, schedule planning, and program governance
- Comfort collaborating with engineers on technical tradeoffs and implementation approaches
- Clear written and verbal communication to support executive-level updates
