About the Role
Join our team as a Bartender for a Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the Rickenbacker’s at Tyndall AFB in Florida. This role requires applicants to be 21 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Operate a full-service bar by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to order using established recipes
- Prepare a variety of specialty drinks (including items like margaritas made without pre-mix, zombies, and Singapore slings)
- Serve patrons directly or deliver beverages to bar waiters as needed
- Take payments and charge member accounts appropriately; operate a cash register and make change
- Maintain cleanliness by washing glasses and bar equipment
- Prepare garnishes and support setup for service bars and catered events
- Support proper bar operations, including receipts handling and inventory accountability
- Complete any required documentation related to cash fund accountability
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to follow drink recipes and prepare beverages consistently
- Comfort working with cash handling and basic point-of-sale systems
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and inventory practices
