About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of iconic American vehicles. We’re looking for a Body-in-White (BIW) CAD Engineer Specialist to help design and refine vehicle structures that support our all-electric and range-extended powertrain platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain BIW CAD models and drawings across design and development cycles.
- Support engineering teams with accurate geometry, fit, and packaging information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability.
- Update documentation and datasets to reflect design revisions and configuration changes.
- Assist with design reviews and technical discussions to ensure alignment with program requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with vehicle body-in-white CAD and related engineering deliverables.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools used for automotive structural design.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerancing concepts, and revision control practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
