Propulsion Technician (Fluids/Valves) - Assembly, Testing & Quality | Onsite

About the Role

Impulse is seeking a hands-on Propulsion Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and document high-reliability valves and fluid components used in spaceflight hardware. This role is detail-focused and plays a critical part in delivering flight-worthy systems on fast timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valve components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and travelers
• Perform precision fitting, torquing, sealing, and alignment of mechanical components
• Clean, prep, and handle parts while following aerospace cleanliness standards
• Run functional checks, leak checks, and basic pressure testing in accordance with established procedures
• Detect, document, and communicate non-conformances or build issues
• Complete build records, travelers, and other required quality documentation accurately and on time
• Partner with engineering, quality, and testing teams to resolve build-related concerns

Requirements

• Experience assembling mechanical components to drawings, work instructions, and travelers
• Ability to perform precision fitting, torquing, sealing, and alignment
• Familiarity with leak testing and basic pressure testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
• Comfort working with aerospace cleanliness and handling requirements
