About the Role
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking four enthusiastic Caretaker team members to support public-facing City halls and facilities across a range of departments. In this role, you will help ensure venues are maintained to a high standard while handling information with strict confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for City halls and public facilities to a consistently high standard
- Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance tasks as required
- Support smooth day-to-day operations across multiple venues and departments
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Resolve issues professionally, including negotiation and conflict resolution when needed
Requirements
- Cleaning and basic maintenance experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers
- Good administrative, planning, and organisational skills, including working to deadlines across multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team
