Alta Planning + Design is looking for a Civic Data Analyst (Sustainable Mobility) to join our Denver team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about active, multimodal, and sustainable transportation—and excited to build a career at the intersection of civic data, sustainability, and community impact.

Responsibilities
- Analyze civic and transportation-related data to support sustainable mobility initiatives
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data summaries for project stakeholders
- Support research and evaluation efforts to inform planning and design decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable insights
- Assist with data quality checks, documentation, and reproducible analysis workflows
Requirements
- Experience working with civic, transportation, or related datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or equivalent)
- Comfort communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interest in sustainable mobility, active transportation, and community-focused outcomes
