About the Role
Smithers’ Quality Assessments Division is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Certified Assessor (CCA) or Lead CCA to support our growing cybersecurity assessment team. As an authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), we help manufacturers in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) strengthen cybersecurity and achieve CMMC compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Cyber AB competency and certification requirements for the CCA or Lead CCA role
- Perform on-site and/or client facility assessments to determine conformity with CMMC requirements
- Evaluate client cybersecurity posture and identify opportunities to strengthen controls and processes
- Support clients with high-quality auditing and responsive, professional guidance throughout the assessment
Requirements
- CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) or Lead CCA qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess against CMMC standards
- Effective communication skills to build trust with client stakeholders
- Ability to support assessments in a timely, organized manner
