About the Role

Join our team as an Aviation Safety Assistant providing office automation and technical program support for FAA-related certification and authorization processes. This onsite role is based in Coraopolis, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the processing of FAA-issued airman certificates, including reviewing applications and related documents.
  • Conduct applicant interviews to help determine qualifications for non-complex certificates.
  • Process FAA authorizations such as inspection authorization, aircrew program designee, and aerobatic competency.
  • Process FAA operator and air agency certificates, including air carrier, repair stations, and approved schools.
  • Review applications for completeness, consistency, and accuracy, ensuring required FAR elements are satisfied.
  • Handle temporary airman certification file processing for certificates issued by designated examiners.
  • Assist with support for designated written testing activities.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify information for completeness and consistency.
  • Comfort working with technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Effective communication skills for applicant interviews and document review.
