About the Role

TrueAccord is seeking a Collections Specialist to support our mission of helping consumers regain financial stability while helping creditors reduce the cost of doing business. You’ll work as part of a team that blends data-driven decisioning with a human approach to debt resolution.

This role is based in Lenexa, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and work assigned collections cases using established processes and customer-focused communication
• Review account status and take appropriate next steps to support timely resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and effective follow-through
• Maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations throughout the collections process

Requirements

• Experience in collections, customer accounts, or a related role preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
• Comfort working with systems and tracking account activity accurately
• Commitment to compliance and ethical practices
