About the Role
SpaceXAI is seeking a Mechanical Construction Superintendent for our Memphis Data Center. In this night shift role, you’ll lead mechanical contractors and crews to build advanced mechanical infrastructure, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical construction activities for the Memphis Data Center during the night shift
- Coordinate and manage mechanical contractors, crews, and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure installations and work methods align with project requirements, schedules, and quality expectations
- Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders
- Support safe work practices and enforce site safety expectations
- Maintain strong, concise communication across teams to share knowledge and resolve blockers quickly
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising mechanical construction activities (commercial or data center preferred)
- Strong leadership and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately and succinctly
- Hands-on mindset and ability to contribute directly to field execution
- Ability to work the night shift and manage responsibilities on-site in Memphis
