About the Role
BlueLine Construction is expanding and seeking motivated, detail-oriented candidates to launch their careers in construction as a Field Engineer. This full-time, salaried position offers hands-on site exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to grow along multiple career paths.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-construction planning and support site mobilization activities
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Help manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, and project documentation
- Support procurement tasks, subcontract drafting, and material tracking
- Assist with QA/QC efforts including inspections and punch list follow-up
- Contribute to closeout packages and turnover documentation
- Maintain compliance with the company safety program and attend required safety meetings
- Be available for travel and temporary relocation to project sites as needed
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn on the job
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of construction documentation and field processes
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
