About the Role
As the Controller, you’ll lead end-to-end accounting and finance operations for the property, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and full compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, GAAP, and applicable state and federal requirements. You’ll partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions and protect company assets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting functions including general ledger management, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting for gaming and non-gaming activities
- Maintain cash controls and ensure accurate processing of accounts payable and payroll coordination
- Manage fixed assets accounting and support tax compliance activities
- Lead forecasting and the annual budgeting process
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, gaming regulators, and corporate finance teams to support audits and regulatory reporting
- Ensure the integrity of financial records through sound internal controls and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting leadership, general ledger management, and GAAP-based reporting
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ability to partner effectively with operational teams and external stakeholders
