About the Role
As a Controls Management Specialist, you’ll help ensure our cybersecurity control environment is effective and continuously improving. You’ll perform control testing, strengthen Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM), and deliver clear reporting that supports risk-based decision-making across security, technology, and compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cybersecurity control testing and assurance to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness
- Enhance Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) using automation, analytics, and improved monitoring coverage
- Find control gaps, recommend remediation actions, and track progress to closure
- Create metrics, dashboards, and risk reporting to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Partner with security, technology, compliance, and business teams to strengthen the overall control environment
- Support security policy, standards, regulatory requirements, and audit-related activities
- Contribute to control modernization and GRC transformation initiatives
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, controls assurance, or related governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) work
- Experience testing cybersecurity controls and assessing design and operating effectiveness
- Knowledge of CCM concepts, automation, and analytics to improve continuous monitoring
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
