About the Role
Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) is looking for a Cost Accountant to help analyze, track, and report manufacturing costs. In this role, you’ll provide reliable cost information that supports accurate budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs and help ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting
- Track cost trends and investigate variances to support performance improvement
- Maintain cost-related documentation and support month-end close activities
- Prepare reports and summaries for finance and operations stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing inputs
Requirements
- Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or related roles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Excel and general accounting systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet monthly reporting deadlines
