About the Role
We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III to lead senior-level vulnerability management across endpoints, servers, networks, cloud environments, and applications. You’ll provide technical direction, share best practices, and strengthen our cybersecurity program by identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and driving remediation of security weaknesses—especially those affecting protected health information (PHI) and other regulated data.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise vulnerability management solutions, including Rapid7 and Tenable Nessus
- Perform vulnerability scanning and validate findings across infrastructure and applications
- Use risk-based approaches to prioritize remediation efforts and reduce organizational risk
- Track remediation progress, ensure closure of issues, and maintain accurate security metrics
- Produce reporting and dashboards for stakeholders on vulnerability posture and trends
- Support cybersecurity incident response efforts as part of a broader security operations team
- Mentor junior team members and provide thought leadership to improve team effectiveness
Requirements
- Proven experience in vulnerability management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tracking
- Hands-on experience with Rapid7 and/or Tenable Nessus
- Strong understanding of risk-based prioritization and security program metrics
- Ability to work across endpoints, servers, networks, cloud, and applications
- Experience supporting security operations, including incident response collaboration
