About the Role

We’re looking for a Direct Procurement Specialist to support interior commodity sourcing for our vehicles, helping ensure the right materials are available to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day procurement activities for assigned interior commodities, from sourcing through purchase order placement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, and program management) to align supplier deliverables with project requirements.
- Support supplier selection, bid comparisons, and commercial negotiations to achieve target pricing and terms.
- Track supplier performance and help resolve issues that impact lead time, quality, or production readiness.
- Maintain procurement documentation and reporting to support audits and ongoing program needs.
Requirements
- Experience in direct procurement or sourcing for manufacturing-related programs.
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and basic commercial terms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency with procurement tools and spreadsheets; ERP experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive clarity with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
