About the Role
Axon is seeking a forward-thinking Director to lead Accounting Strategy and Financial Reporting. In this role, you’ll help shape how we account for complex transactions and communicate results with clarity and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting research and operational analysis with a focus on M&A activity, strategic equity and debt investments, and related transactions.
- Support the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Drive special projects that improve processes, controls, and reporting effectiveness.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accounting conclusions are well-documented and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- Strong background in accounting research, financial reporting, and transaction accounting.
- Experience working with M&A, strategic investments, and/or complex accounting topics.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate new standards and translate guidance into actionable reporting approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
