About the Role
Arc is electrifying the marine industry by rethinking powertrains, software, and vessel design from first principles. As we expand from consumer applications into commercial and defense, we’re seeking a Director, Defense to help drive strategy, execution, and growth within defense-focused programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead defense business development and program execution for marine electrification solutions
- Own cross-functional planning and coordination across engineering, operations, and commercial teams
- Support the delivery of signed contracts and advance a multi-vessel pipeline
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into actionable requirements and delivery plans
- Represent Arc with partners and stakeholders to strengthen long-term relationships and opportunities
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in defense, government, or defense-adjacent contracting environments
- Strong program management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with complex technical products and translating requirements into outcomes
- Track record of driving growth through pipeline development and partner engagement
