About the Role
BriteCore is seeking a Director of Presales Engineering to help P&C insurers modernize with a cloud-native core insurance platform. You’ll lead technical presales efforts that translate customer needs into compelling solutions—supporting sales with deep product and architecture expertise.
Responsibilities
- Own presales engineering strategy, partnering with sales to shape technical deal direction
- Lead solution discovery, technical presentations, and demonstrations for carrier stakeholders
- Develop and maintain architecture narratives that connect business outcomes to platform capabilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback drives improvements
- Guide technical proposals, including integration approaches, deployment considerations, and security alignment
- Mentor presales engineers and strengthen team processes for repeatable, high-quality delivery
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in presales engineering, solutions engineering, or a closely related technical role
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern software integration patterns
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record of supporting enterprise software sales cycles from discovery through proposal
- Familiarity with insurance domain concepts (Property & Casualty preferred) and/or core insurance workflows
