About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American legacy—electrifying and digitizing rugged vehicles designed for real life. We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer Specialist to support construction-focused electrical systems as we develop and scale our powertrain and vehicle programs.
Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering activities tied to construction and installation planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical requirements are met across build phases
- Assist in reviewing designs, specifications, and electrical system documentation
- Help coordinate technical inputs to installation schedules, testing plans, and commissioning activities
- Identify risks, track action items, and support resolution of engineering issues during build-out
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with electrical systems, construction/installation processes, or related engineering support
- Strong fundamentals in electrical design, documentation, and engineering problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and construction stakeholders
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail
