About the Role
RTX is seeking an Embedded Cybersecurity Software Engineer I to support aerospace and defense programs. This onsite role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, with an active DoD Secret clearance required after day one.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded cybersecurity software components for defense systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security requirements into embedded platforms
- Support secure coding practices and contribute to vulnerability mitigation activities
- Document software behavior, security considerations, and verification results
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required to be eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; active/existing clearance required after day one
- Experience developing embedded software in a security-focused environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
