About the Role
State Street is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Vice President to lead assurance coverage across non-financial risk areas. In this role, you will provide independent oversight of key business risks, partnering closely with Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Audit leadership to strengthen risk visibility and audit effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution of audits covering non-financial risk processes
- Provide independent assurance over risk domains including technology, cyber security, data management, transaction processing, resiliency, and change management
- Support annual audit planning activities and contribute to audit strategy and coverage decisions
- Evaluate third-party risk, fraud risk, reporting risk, human capital risk, legal risk, and strategic risk as applicable
- Coach and develop audit staff, contributing to talent growth and capability building
- Support departmental initiatives and cross-functional efforts to improve processes and controls
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, or assurance roles focused on non-financial risks
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and audit execution methodologies
- Experience covering areas such as technology and cyber security, data management, operational resiliency, and third-party risk
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to drive scoping and execution of audit engagements with attention to detail and outcomes
