About the Role
SpaceXAI is seeking a hands-on Fire Protection Engineer to help design, implement, and improve fire protection and life safety systems. In a small, highly motivated team, you’ll contribute directly to engineering excellence while supporting a mission-driven culture built on curiosity and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine fire protection and life safety systems for reliability and safety
- Support implementation and optimization of protection strategies across facilities
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements based on engineering findings
- Collaborate closely with team members to communicate requirements, risks, and solutions clearly
- Contribute to a flat organizational structure by taking ownership and delivering high-quality results
Requirements
- Experience designing fire protection and life safety systems
- Strong understanding of life safety and fire protection engineering principles
- Ability to clearly and accurately communicate technical information with teammates
- Strong prioritization skills and a proactive, hands-on work style
