About the Role
We’re seeking a Forklift Operator to support safe and accurate receiving, storage, and shipment of food products. You’ll operate a variety of material-handling equipment under general supervision to keep product moving efficiently throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely using the appropriate forklift or pallet handling equipment
- Move products to storage areas and maintain organized inventory locations
- Stack and store merchandise properly to prevent damage and ensure accuracy
- Pick, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment, following established processes
- Inspect freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; report issues as needed
- Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack products according to management direction
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse material-handling equipment (sit-down/stand-up, high-reach, or similar)
- Ability to safely handle food products and follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy and freight inspection
- Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
