About the Role

Sphinx Labs is seeking a Founding Account Executive to help launch and scale our revenue engine. You’ll be the early sales leader responsible for driving new business for our AI compliance analysts, supporting banks and fintechs as they automate AML, KYC, KYB, and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Target financial institutions and fintech teams across onboarding and compliance workflows
  • Build and manage a pipeline that converts into live, revenue-generating deals
  • Partner with founders and product to refine messaging and sales strategy based on customer feedback
  • Represent Sphinx Labs in meetings, demos, and negotiations while maintaining a high win-rate

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of B2B SaaS or fintech sales experience, ideally in enterprise or mid-market
  • Proven ability to run end-to-end sales processes and close deals independently
  • Comfort selling to compliance, risk, and operations stakeholders
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and pipeline management skills
  • Experience working with competitive deals and high-velocity outbound or inbound motions

Compensation & Benefits

  • $150,000–$200,000 base salary
  • Up to $300,000 OTE plus competitive equity
  • Paid relocation and one month of temporary housing
  • Visa sponsorship not available
