About the Role
Pluto is building a vertically integrated, federally regulated market network for compute infrastructure. In this early founding role, you’ll help shape how institutional traders, enterprise operators, and regulators understand and interact with a new market category.
You’ll translate complex financial and operational workflows into product experiences that feel clear, trustworthy, and precise—backed by a strong visual language and usable interaction patterns.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product UX from early concepts through high-fidelity UI
- Design the first version of Pluto’s product experience, interaction model, and visual system
- Partner closely with founders, engineers, and domain experts to define workflows and requirements
- Create reusable UI components and design system foundations
- Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback, usability considerations, and product constraints
Requirements
- Proven experience designing complex B2B or fintech-style products with dense workflows
- Strong UI craft: high-fidelity design, interaction design, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical partners
- Experience collaborating with engineering to ship production-quality UI
- Comfort working in an early-stage environment with evolving requirements
