Part-Time Juice Barista (Frederick, MD) - Specialty Beverage Preparation

About the Role

As a part-time Juice Barista in Frederick, you’ll prepare fresh juices and specialty menu items for customers. You’ll help keep the station organized, follow food-safety standards, and support smooth service during scheduled events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the work area for juice and specialty product production
• Review materials for product demonstrations to understand scope, instructions, and compliance requirements
• Follow safety procedures when using equipment, including hot machinery and sharp tools
• Use proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavier items
• Maintain safe food handling across preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal
• Complete required reporting tasks, including online submissions
• Monitor event schedules and email updates for upcoming activities, changes, and supervisor requests
• Complete required certifications and attend training as needed

Requirements

• Experience preparing food or beverages in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Commitment to food safety and safe equipment handling
• Ability to work a part-time schedule and support event-based needs
