About the Role
We Are Social is seeking a Freelance Senior Designer to help shape strategic, high-impact visual work for social-first campaigns. In this role, you’ll translate client goals into polished creative that tells nuanced stories and tackles complex business challenges—while mentoring and elevating the design team.
Responsibilities
- Lead design concepts from strategy through final execution for social and campaign deliverables
- Bridge client thinking with creative craft to produce sophisticated, brand-right visual storytelling
- Mentor designers by sharing feedback, best practices, and creative direction
- Create work that showcases strong social media design instincts and drives engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure campaigns are cohesive and on-trend
Requirements
- Proven senior-level design experience, with a strong portfolio focused on social media and campaign work
- Ability to develop creative grounded in client strategy and business goals
- Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, and brand consistency
- Experience mentoring or leading projects and providing constructive feedback
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, trend-aware creative environment
