Generator Technician (Entry-Level) | Onsite Role in Portland, OR

About the Role

Pearce is looking for a Generator Technician to support mission-critical power systems across North America. You’ll help maintain, repair, and troubleshoot backup power equipment used in environments where uptime matters, including facilities serving data, telecom, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair activities for backup power generators and related electromechanical components
• Perform inspections and basic troubleshooting to support reliable system performance
• Follow safety procedures and site requirements during all service activities
• Document work performed and communicate updates to the team

Requirements

• Hands-on technical experience with electrical/mechanical systems (trade school, prior service work, or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work onsite and support field service schedules
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow within a technology-enabled maintenance environment
