About the Role
Laminar is building physical AI solutions that help process and manufacturing teams improve efficiency and sustainability. Working from Greentown Labs in Somerville, you’ll support the hands-on assembly and integration of hardware components used in our sensor-driven systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, integration, and basic test of hardware components and sensor assemblies
- Follow build instructions and quality checks to ensure reliable device performance
- Document assembly steps, results, and any issues encountered during testing
- Support troubleshooting and iterative improvements based on test feedback
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to keep builds on schedule
Requirements
- Interest in hardware engineering and electronics assembly
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with small components
- Basic understanding of electronic components and test/verification principles
- Ability to learn quickly, follow procedures, and keep clear documentation
