About the Role
DLR Group is seeking a Laboratory Planner to support lab planning and Science + Technology projects. In this hybrid role, you’ll help translate project goals into functional laboratory environments while partnering closely with principals, project managers, senior laboratory planners, and cross-disciplinary design teams.
Responsibilities
- Support programming, space planning, and design development for laboratory projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to align lab requirements with overall project plans
- Assist with planning efforts for science and technology facilities, from early concepts through design coordination
- Contribute to documentation and planning deliverables to support project delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory planning and/or lab-focused design
- Strong understanding of laboratory space planning concepts and functional requirements
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly
- Experience supporting Science + Technology projects is preferred
