About the Role

Join our team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee as a full-time, 5-days-per-week on-site Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer supporting nuclear power and SMR initiatives. As the energy sector modernizes and expands, you’ll contribute to complex process controls engineering efforts across safety, operations, maintenance, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead high-level, complex program activities for nuclear instrumentation and controls work tied to design, operational excellence, safety, maintenance, and project management.
  • Direct technical decision-making within a project team alongside engineers and designers supporting design, modification, and analysis of power plant controls systems.
  • Support engineering efforts that strengthen reliability and performance of instrumentation and control solutions for nuclear facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in instrumentation and controls engineering, preferably within nuclear or highly regulated industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to lead technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of process controls concepts and their application to safety- and reliability-critical systems.
