About the Role
Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Construction Lead Project Engineer to support project execution across the construction lifecycle. This role is remote for U.S.-based candidates, with significant field deployment (approximately 40%–75% travel). You’ll work closely with the Senior Project Manager and cross-functional teams to help deliver complex projects safely, on schedule, and to spec.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and technical support for construction projects from planning through delivery.
- Coordinate with project management, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Support scheduling, documentation, and technical deliverables to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Provide jobsite guidance on engineering-related issues, maintaining alignment with approved plans and standards.
- Assist with risk identification and mitigation strategies related to field conditions and project scope.
- Maintain clear communication across remote and field stakeholders, escalating concerns when needed.
Requirements
- Experience in construction project engineering, project coordination, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and how technical requirements translate to the field.
- Ability to travel frequently (40%–75%) and operate effectively in jobsite environments.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with project documentation and tracking to support timely reporting.
