About the Role
Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Lead Radar Target Generator Design Engineer for Flight Simulation Labs in Berkeley, Missouri. In this role, you’ll help design and evolve radar test station integration hardware used in avionics system integration laboratories (SILs), supporting mission-focused development and training for Boeing military aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine radar test station and radar target generator hardware designs, specifications, and architectures
- Own engineering processes, methodologies, and tool usage to support design, integration, and ongoing upgrades
- Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to align designs with program requirements
- Support the maintenance and improvement of integration test sites and their subcomponents for SIL environments
Requirements
- Experience designing radar-related test hardware or similar RF/electronic systems
- Strong systems and architecture thinking for complex integration environments
- Ability to translate requirements into hardware specifications and design outputs
- Experience working in engineering teams supporting design, development, and test activities
