About the Role
Deepwatch is seeking a Lead SOC Analyst to help protect organizations from evolving cyber threats through 24/7 managed security services. In this role, you’ll lead security monitoring efforts using our cloud-based security operations platform to detect activity, support automated response, and help improve customers’ security posture.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day SOC operations, including triage, investigation, and escalation of security events
- Oversee detection workflows and coordinate responses to ensure timely and accurate handling of alerts
- Partner with incident responders and engineering teams to refine detections and improve outcomes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to SOC analysts to strengthen processes and analyst performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of playbooks, procedures, and reporting
Requirements
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
- Strong understanding of security monitoring, incident investigation, and threat detection concepts
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and related security tooling
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders during incidents
- Demonstrated leadership experience, such as mentoring or coordinating investigations
