About the Role
Join the Adversary Fleet Support Team within the F-16 Fleet Support Team (FST) Logistics Department at FLTREADCEN EAST. As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will provide expert logistics support for assigned aircraft and/or engines, representing NAVAIR on acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an independent decision-maker for program logistics support to help achieve fleet aircraft/engine safety and readiness goals
- Own acquisition and in-service support requirements impacting aircraft/engine acquisition and day-to-day operations
- Coordinate program support issues with the APML, IPT Leader, and FST lead as needed
- Assess program documentation, system designs, and aircraft/engine interfaces to ensure logistical considerations are addressed
Requirements
- Expertise in logistics support for aircraft or engine systems
- Experience supporting acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics efforts
- Ability to evaluate technical documentation and interfaces for logistics impacts
- Strong independent judgment to support safety and readiness objectives
